Careers at UnlimitedIRL

We build for creators who move culture. The ones who turn cities into stages, who stream from rooftops, jungles, and festivals. The ones who make the world feel smaller - and more connected - one broadcast at a time.

Team Team Co-founder and Founder

Our work starts where connection meets creation.

We design systems that keep stories alive when the signal can't drop. We make tools that help artists, athletes, and innovators show the world what it looks like through their eyes. We obsess over reliability, not because it’s glamorous - but because it’s what keeps the magic from breaking.

Los Angeles, CA - Contract

UnlimitedIRL is a Los Angeles based live production and technical solutions company. We sell and support the live-streaming systems, production workflows, and custom technical infrastructure for top live creators, artists, brands, and live events.

We’re looking for hands-on video engineers, RF and broadcast tech nerds in the LA area for contract work.

This is a good fit for someone who likes testing gear, building systems (and then solving problems that come up). Some projects are straightforward production support. Others involve custom solutions / one-off technical builds that need someone who can think clearly and move fast.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • CBRS / private cellular
  • COFDM / wireless video transmission (including BAS or FPV drone stuff)
  • Vislink, Cobham, Wave Central, TVU, LiveU, Dejero, or similar systems
  • Bonded cellular workflows
  • OBS / Companion / StreamDeck
  • SRT, RTMP, NDI, SDI, HDMI and encoders / decoder software and hardware
  • 3D printing, prototyping (mounts, enclosures, and event specific needs)
  • Networking, RF troubleshooting, and live production problem-solving
  • AI tools for productivity, automation, and light software workflows

A genuine interest in AI tools is a huge plus. Even limited software experience paired with vibe coding can unlock a lot of useful workflows for internal tools, automation, Companion setups, dashboards, and glue-code projects.

This role is contract / freelance work with the potential to expand to full time, mostly based out of our Culver City office, with some field work depending on the project.

When applying, send a short note about your background, the gear and workflows you’ve worked with, and the types of projects you’re most interested in.
